Default 5 yr old and 2 yr old unreg., full sisters

From The Healing Barn

Quote:
We still have the 5 year old mare and 2 year old filly. They are full sisters and absolute buds. This may not be possible but we would really love to see them go together. They are such buddies that I would hate to separate them now. However if they are going to another barn with other horses I am sure we could work something out, but it would sure be nice to send them to a home together!!

I have attached some pictures for you. The bay 5 year old is Armonie (Apache de Carlos dobrostar Revelation) was foaled on April 20, 2004 and the 2 year old filly that is Black is Destiny (no registered name)!

They are both by Apache de Carlos and out of Mystery del Ocho.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with! I must also let you know they have to be adopted through the Wood County Humane Society and it is ideal that they stay within this area so we can keep track of them, but is not end all be all.

Sincerely,
Corri Swigart Mayo

I don't know the adoption fee yet, waiting on a response to this. These are the horses that Pavon3337 originally told us about here.

Just now got the response due to email issues on their end.

More Info and pictures

Michele,

I believe it is between $250- $500 each. There is also paperwork and a contract that must be signed in order to adopt them after you pass the application process. Here are some pictures that I have on file of side views, not the greatest but gives you an idea!

Sincerely,

I adopted these two beauties dam...Mystery del Ocho. I truly hope they can be adopted together.

Nancy and Corri at the Healing Barn have done wonders at bringing these animals back, literally, from the brink of death.

Here is a picture of Mystery at one-month with us. She is a lovely mare and we're looking forward to seeing her back to full health in the coming months.

I'll try and post a picture each month.

Is Mystery registered Pavon? I can't remember. Just wondering if these two mares can be registered.

Mystery is registered...Mystery del Ocho. I don't believe the stallion was though.

I've called PFHA, no one will returned my calls, about trying to get her papers as the owners gave up ownership to the Humane Society to avoid prosecution. All of which has been in print and verified.

Here's her pedigree:

Don't know what else to do.

Keep calling. I know it's a pain and hassle, but that may be the only way. PM Cindy on here, maybe she will know a bit more, she's on the BOD.

Mystery del ocho is listed as a registered horse on the PFHA CD but with no offspring. The owner listed is Jeanne Cope. If you call PFHA, ask for Carolyn.

Pavon, you said the sire of her two fillies is NOT registered?

That means these fillies won't be registerable either. Sad. However, how gaited are they? Be nice if we could get a video.

The stallion doesn't appear to be registered. The name on the photo, when Armani was born, was Apache de Carlos.

Someone else may know more.

I saw them all at the Healing Barn, and also a video of their first day out in the large turnout, and all of them were gaiting. The little filly had her tail up like a banner strutting her stuff.
